Weak Hero Class 1





(1)    Plot. The first ever Non BL (I will still argue.lol) Kdrama that I downloaded and watched continuously. This series is full packed of action, drama and a lot more. Bullying has already been used as a topic and to convey a message to the audiences but this is not the typical “bullied person learns to fight back then got his revenge” story , they added a some spices which made the series very refreshing to audiences

(2)    Characterization. They used the Triangle formula for their protagonist just like Harry, Hermione and Ron, or The Lion, The witch and the wardrobe etc. Let’s start with Park Ji-Hoon as Yeon Si-Eun (The brain) uses his knowledge and wit to defend himself from the bullies. I was surprised when I searched about him, he is too good with just few experiences in acting especially at Ep.8 when he is just walking and crying in the corridor with students and teachers behind him and punch those windows. You can see the word “Im done”. It’s not anger, it’s more than outrage, its “Im done”.





Choi Hyun-Wook (The Strength) who uses physical abilities and his skills on martial arts to fight who turns out to be the most newbie among 3 of them. Lastly, Hong Kyung, (The Power) who uses wealth to have control on almost everything, who actually the most experiences when it comes to acting and it’s really evident on the series, he really nails the “Mata-mata school of acting” specifically during the fighting scene in the building. The production really created a magic to stich the story of these 3 students with different background and personality.

(3)    Final Verdict 9/10. Why? There’s always a room for improvement and (Spoiler Alert) I just find that there’s an insufficient or very weak reason why Beom betrayed his friends, maybe a little more cause will really do the job and I don’t want to maximize it for season 2, yieeee . But overall, you will have ride-all-you-can ticket with Eun-Si. He will take you on a trip with his story, his character development and moment with his friends. He will make you smile and cry and he will give you a very unforgettable ride,

  Night.  I woke up at the bus leaning in your arms.   I checked my phone. It was almost midnight.   I’m kind of confuse where we at. “Sm na tayo” , you said.
